CPA 2026 – Critical Perspectives on Accounting Conference: Toward New Accountings in Troubled Times

The Critical Perspectives on Accounting Conference brings together accounting faculty, doctoral students, and researchers from other disciplines interested in critical accounting research. The Conference, held every three years, offers a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. It aims to build and consolidate the network of active supporters of critical accounting scholarship. It also seeks to encourage critical reflexivity on the development of accounting prescriptions and the practice of accounting in a world facing many challenges. Notably, the Conference aims to generate substantive conversations on how accounting might be improved to construct a better and fairer world, aiming focus on socio-political and environmental transformations.
